I do a lot of brick workouts and have some friends who do them, too. I would like to find out what your best/favorite foods are for fueling before and between brick workouts, and why.

what is a brick workout?

A brick workout is where you do more than one workout in a day - so you might do two runs that day with a break in between.

It depends what your goal is. If you are doing the workouts to build muscle tissue, you will want a protein heavy diet. If you are training for an endurance run, you might need to add select carbs to your diet. Consult a nutritionist for the best advice.

I've never heard of brick workouts either. Do you do two full workouts or are you basically splitting your workouts in half? I usually try to push myself pretty hard and I don't know if I could do another workout in the same day. I guess if I did do it, I would do a morning and evening workout. I'd probably take in plenty of protein for my muscles and carbs for energy to reboost for the next workout. I'd probably drink some smoothies in the afternoon between lunch and dinner to get even more calories and energy to burn.
